SnoWake: I always said I'd never give up on this location - it's a great spot, and I've been coming here for over 20 years.

Alas, four ammo cans, other replacements from the community, complaints of inappropriate items in the cache (a corona and a condom, at one point - accompanied by stick figure porn in the log)... I call it quits.

Someone else put one here, already! [:)]

Geocache Description:

A blast from the past, but I've upped the ante a bit, hoping to make this one last. Without further ado - here's the original cache description.

Journey back through time to an era when the namesake creatures of this park ruled the land.



This location provides some spectacular vistas of the glacier-carved Diablo Valley with relatively low effort.

An moderate walk from parking, this dino-themed cache has been re-stocked with a plethora of dinos - so come and get them!

I'm really hoping this more out-of-the-way location will allow the cache to survive, undisturbed. If you notice a geo-trail beginning to form to the final location - please consider taking a different approach. Also ensure the cache is covered with the ample, natural camo.

Here's to another five year run! I was hoping to keep this venerable cache alive, since it was the second one I placed - but was advised that I was changing/moving it enough that it warranted a new cache.

The good news is - all you old-timers, who may have been here as far back as 2003 - get to come find it again! Coords were averaged for over 120 samples with my 60CSx, and GPSr reported ~15' accuracy - tree cover will likely wreak havoc on reception.
