Bienvenido(a) al cache Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico. Este “mystery cache” enfatiza los dos programas principales que ofrece la universidad: Arquitectura e Ingeniería.
Cuando te encuentres en el punto de partida, resuelve lo siguiente:

Cuando te encuentres en el segundo punto, resuelve lo siguiente:

C= Palmas dentro de cuadrados a tu alrededor
D= Líneas verticales del cuatro romano
Para resolver E y F debes entrar al edificio que te queda de frente, subir las escaleras y entrar por la puerta del tercer piso que te queda a la izquierda*
E= Escalones (sin contar descanso**)
F= (Al subir las escaleras, gira tu cuerpo 180 grados) Letras rojas
*Para entrar debes esperar que un estudiante (muggle) con ID entre o salga.
**Descanso: Término arquitectónico que se refiere a la porción de piso horizontal en escaleras y rampas.
Cuando te encuentres en el tercer punto, resuelve lo siguiente:

Para resolver G y H debes entrar al edificio que te queda de frente y contar los escalones de las dos escaleras laterales (sin contar descansos) hasta el cuarto piso.
G= Escalones lado derecho
H= Escalones lado izquierdo
Luego de contar los escalones, deberás resolver las siguientes ecuaciones simultáneas para hallar los valores de x, y, z.
x= 2(z)+(y)-1
y= 45(z)-37
z= 5(x)-278
Ahora sustituye los valores en las coordenadas, las cuales te llevarán al lugar donde se encuentra el cache.
*En ninguna de las coordenadas hay que multiplicar los paréntesis, sólo resolver lo que se encuentra dentro de ellos.
El cache es un envase lock & lock rectangular. Contiene una cinta métrica Craftsman para FTF, log sheet, lápiz y varios "goodies". Se recomienda buscar de lunes a jueves de 8am-10pm y sábados de 8am-6pm.

Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (PUPR) is a private, nonprofit, co-educational higher education institution founded in September, 1966. The main campus is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the Hato Rey ward, quite close to the Golden Mile area. The main academic disciplines are: Engineering (seven programs), Geomatic Sciences, Architecture, Computer Sciences and Business Administration (four majors). At the present time, it is the largest private Engineering School in Puerto Rico and the only one in the district of San Juan. It is also the largest private Hispanic Serving Engineering School in the United States and its territories. In 2001 and 2003, the University opened new campuses in the cities of Miami and Orlando, Florida, respectively.
PUPR offers Bachelor of Science degrees in: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Land Surveying and Mapping and Computer Science; Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in: Accounting, Construction Management, General Management and Marketing. The institution offers also a Bachelor in Architecture.
At the graduate level the academic offerings are: Master of Science (MS) in: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing Competitiveness; Master of Engineering in: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, Master in: Computer Sciences, Engineering Management, Environmental Management, Landscape Architecture, and Manufacturing Competitiveness: Master of Business Administration in: Computer Information Systems (E-Commerce & Data Base), General and Interdisciplinary, and International Enterprises.
PUPR is fully authorized by the Council of Higher Education of Puerto Rico (CHE), the state licensing agency, and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) of the U.S.A. The five oldest engineering programs - Civil, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical and Environmental - are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In October of 2007, the ABET’s visiting team evaluated five programs for re-accreditation - Civil, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental. The three other programs submitted to the process - Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Land Surveying and Mapping - were evaluated for the first accreditation. All eight programs were accredited.
The Bachelor’s degree program in Architecture is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and the Bachelor’s degree program of Business Administration is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
During the fall term of the academic year 2007-08 the total enrollment at the main campus in Hato Rey was 5,941 students, of which 71.1% of them were enrolled in the School of Engineering and Geomatic Sciences, 13.0% in the School of Architecture and 9.4% in the School of Management. The total enrollment is represented by 5,216 undergraduate students and 725 students enrolled in the several Master degree programs. The faculty is made up of 145 members in the School of Engineering and Geomatic Sciences, 48 in the School of Architecture, 18 in the School of Management and 79 members of Arts and Sciences. In its history, PUPR has awarded 7,104 bachelor degrees and 1,313 master degrees.
