Geocache Description:

A "NA-CRO" located in "New Auburn"-Auburn, Maine.

One of Lew/Aub's newest memorials(Oct 17, 2008) is dedicated to Dr. Bernard Lown, 1985 Noble Peace Prize for prevention of nuclear war. Born in Lithuania June 7, 1921; emigrated to U.S. in 1935; graduated from LHS and University of Maine, with his MD at John Hopkins-cardiologist. Known for his works with the defibrillator and founder of many humanitarian organizations-see quote on stone.
Points of interests nearby: New Auburn, RolloDrome, D&D, the Androscoggin River, Little Canada and Railroad Park; the Franco American Heritage Center with its peregrine falcons, and many other caches.
Cache container is larger than a nano and smaller than a micro-in plain site. Muggles could be a factor here-use caution when replacing as found. Plenty of parking nearby.
No need to leave walkways to obtain your goal!
Seeing how the Lewiston side of this cache site isn't so winter friendly; I placed this one here, so please enjoy the area all year round.

Congrats to eagle-eye Kacky and cold co-FTF KG, WTG!
