Geocache Description:

The cache is located in South Lake park along with two other caches. There is a mowed path out here and even if the city has been running behind the undergrowth never gets to high. There is a parking area off of Butters Ave but in the winter they don't plow it. In the winter you can park along riverside and walk across the pedestrian bridge to get to this park. Enjoy your walk along the Sauk River and hopefully you will get to see some deer or other wildlife.

You are looking for a small Lock-n-Lock hidden in a traditional manner. You can follow the mowed trail almost the whole way back to the cache. The last 150-200ft will be a little bushwhacking. The Trail ends at the peninsula and during some season you might have to cross a little water or it might be a little swampy back here. Out on the peninsula you will have a scenic view of South Lake.
