Small but varied preserve with on-site parking. Underbrush recently cleared and trails are now marked with numbers.
One of many small nature preserves around south Sarasota County, Curry Creek Preserve has maintained walking paths with markers but retains plenty of Florida nature. The canopy is thick so your GPS may not get a good lock when you get near the cache, but your geosenses should get you the last bit without too much trouble.
Use the parking waypoint from Albee Road, as there is no easy access from Bay Indies Mobile Home Park.
