Geocaching has changed! It used to be more about location, location, location and less about numbers, numbers, numbers. It used to be more about going places and seeing things. It used to be less about finding stuff and how many. It used to be nobody cared about being first. It used to be people hid caches one at a time. It used to be there was less cache quantity and more about quality. It used to be geocaching was more hiking in the woods and less riding around in the car. It used to be there were no micros and nobody hid caches in parking lots. It used to be we didn't have to practice "stealth" or play the dodge the muggle game. It used to be geocachers were more outdoorsy and less cerebral. It used to be caches were caches to be found instead of "evil" hides. It used to be geocaching was run more like a hobby and less like a business. It used to be there were fewer rules and a lot less politics.
