At this exact place we saw a magnificent Golden Eagle perched on the top of the rock formations to the West. The Eagle held her perch as we photographed her and hid a cache in her honor. I think she is female because in eagles females are larger than mails and this bird is big! We have seen eagles here in Bear Valley on several other occasions so keep your eye on the power poles and high rocks. Great wild flowers here in the spring.
