This is our first of two caches we placed in Lake Fort Smith State Park. We realized that this park was in desperate need of some caches. This one should be pretty easy. We chose this area because it provides a beautiful view of Lake Fort Smith and the wonderfully maintained Visitors Center. Be sure and go inside and check it out while hunting these caches. You are looking for a cammo covered peanut butter jar. It has a log book with a pen but as always be sure and bring your own pen just in case. It will also hold small trade items and travel bugs and coins. It has a few small trade items to start out with, mostly some fun stuff for the kids. Please let us know about your experiences while hunting our caches and let us know if it needs maintenance. Like the name says, watch out for the briars, they are everywhere. And as always, while hunting in Arkansas, watch out for snakes, ticks, chiggers and other creepy crawlies as well as the poisonous plants. This cache is placed with the permission of the Arknasas State Parks Permit No. 27-4. Thanks!! And have fun!!
