How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This cache reflects on the wonders of the Hymenoptera Formicidae which defend themselves with the pungent Fore!mic Acid (HCOOH). The cache is a micro which offers some great views along the trail. The cache is very easily discovered at GZ. As you should be on fire-trails 99.9% of the way (only stepping off for the find) the higher terrain rating only reflects the gradient of the trail in a couple of areas.
**You need to BYO pen or pencil, and tweezers are always a good idea with micros to extract the log easily**
The Genera and species are varied, but include all ants, wasps and bees. Sounds promising, hey?
Please ensure that you are gentle with extracting the cache, and note exactly where to return it to. This location was man-made (or "Fore!-made", really) rather than natural, so as to not adversely affect the native inhabitANTS' usual routes.
