This cache has been archived.

inspicio: One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

First go to above co-ordinates then from the directional plaque find numbers that will make up the cache location co-ordinates. Easy enough for the kids to do.

You know those sites with the directional plaques that give you the distances to all of the major cities and how you all gather round them and check out the distances to all the places you've been or would love to go to. Well this is one of those places so we thought we'd make it a bit more interesting by using some of the information from the sign.

First go to above co-ordinates then from the directional plaque located there, find the following numbers that will make up the cache location co-ordinates:

A = First digit in the distance to Sydney
B = First digit in the distance to Melbourne
C = Second digit in the distance to Moree
D = Third digit in the distance to Sydney
E = Second digit in the distance to Darwin
F = Second digit in the distance to Perth
G = Last digit in the distance to Cairns

Cache location is:
S 29° CA.DBA
E 151° GC.EBF

This is a polypipe type cannister approx 25 cm long and 9 cm diameter, and painted brown. This was our first ever cache placing and as it was Australia Day, have placed a small Aussie flag inside along with a few other swaps.

This is easy access with carparking area, a good picnic location and has BBQ's & toilets.
