Find your way out to the park-in-progress for a leg stretcher. You'll be looking for two tree tags (coordinates on front and back) and one black jar hidden in rocks. Might as well bring the hounds with you. You know they would love it.
There are big expectations for this area. Many soccer and softball fields as well as a few basketball courts. An extensive hiking and biking trail system that will join up with the canal trail. Dog facilities with a proposed dog park. Plenty of parking with restrooms, picnic shelters and a lot of grass with native vegetation. There is even a trout pond planned. Sounds like fun to me, if they don't run out of money.
