The bell tower. We knew this was Princeton’s traditional
freshman prank. Stealing the bell’s clapper. Rumor was the
administration removed it. Charlie heard it was still there. Late
that night, I was the group's lookout. Paul and Charlie picked the
tower lock.
They returned soon – the clapper was gone. Then a figure stepped
from the shadows. “Stop!” We were caught, there was no escape
possible. “Put your hands on your hips – now shake it,
baby!" Gil! We flew three pairs of pants from the tower.
