Another opportunity for you to stop and catch your breath as you
head up or down the Black Mountain Trail.
On 2009-01-29 I took a day off work and I spent that day hiking all
over the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. I picked this spot
between two existing caches to place a cache of my own. Along this
portion of the Black Mountain Trail you can look down upon the
Stevens Creek Quarry. Although we may not like the blight it has
placed upon the landscape, it is hard to not be impressed with the
scope of the operation.
