O Parque Linear do Vale
das Flores, inaugurado em 2001, é uma das várias áreas de lazer da
cidade de Coimbra onde é possível passear ou praticar desporto.
Contempla uma ciclovia, um circuito pedonal, um polidesportivo com
piso em relva artificial, bem como diversos equipamentos de
diversão infantil.
A Cache
Esta cache serve para vos
fazer atravessar o Parque de uma ponta à outra, disfrutando daquilo
que ele tem para oferecer. É uma cache com um enigma simples que
não deve demorar muito a decifrar, e simples de
encontrar.
É uma cache "small" com
logbook, lápis e stashnote.
Muito cuidado com os
muggles que abundam naquele local, especialmente aos fins-de-semana
e em dias de sol.
Como encontrar a
cache
Nas coordenadas iniciais
irão encontrar um banco de jardim. Examinem-no e respondam às
seguintes questões:
A - Quantos X servem de
suporte ao banco?
B - Quantas tábuas de
madeira formam o assento?
Depois, é só fazer as
seguintes contas:
Y = (A x 238) +
17
Z = (B x 36) -
10
Com os resultados destas
contas, as coordenadas finais serão:
40° 11.Y' N 8°
24.Z' W
Se as coordenadas vos levarem para fora do parque, refaçam as
contas!

The Location
The Linear Park of Vale das Flores, opened in 2001, is one of
several recreational areas in the city of Coimbra where you can
walk or play sports. It includes a bicycle circuit, a pedestrian
circuit, a playing field with artificial turf, as well as various
equipments for children's play.
The Cache
This cache is made in a way that will make you cross the park from
one end to the other, enjoying what it has to offer. It is a cache
with a simple puzzle that doesn't take much to decipher and is easy
to find.
It is a small cache with logbook, pencil and stashnote.
Be very careful with the muggles that abound in that place,
especially on the weekends and on sunny days.
How to find the
cache
In the initial coordinates you will find a park bench. Examine it
and answer the following questions:
A - How many X support the bench?
B - How many wood planks form the seat?
Then you can just do the following calculations:
Y = (A x 238) + 17
Z = (B x 36) - 10
With the results in hand, the final coordinates will be:
40 ° 11.Y 'N 8 ° 24.Z' W
If the coordinates take you outside the park, redo your math! |
