Smith Lake Challenge Cache Bonus Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Smith Lake Caching Challange

ALL CACHES PLACED WITH PERMISSION FROM MWR AND FISH AND LIFE.

The listed cords are not correct! This is the Bonus Cache in the challenge series placed around Smith
Lake. The terrain and difficulty is rated 5/5 because you have to find the other caches to get the cords and the terrain will vary greatly from cache to cache. Plan enough time for these caches. These are not likely to be
completed in less then a couple of hours. They are designed to be
hiked to or for you to ride a mountain bike to. I highly discourage
the use of you car or truck to drive to each one of these caches.
The surrounding roads are extremely slippery when wet and really
muddy during wet weather. Other then that they can be extremely
rough to travel on unless you have a serious 4 wheel drive truck
and then maybe you could get to some of the spots with out walking
much?.

You can stick to the main dirt road with ease and walk or hike in
to GZ Cache site of most of the caches. Park at the parking cords
if you choose to hike the whole series, the fastest way to get to
the parking cords are through the supplied Way point on this cache
page how ever you can take the longer rout that takes you through
Smith lake recreation area. Just look for the signs and arrows that
point you toward the boat ramp. Have fun and cache safe. Enjoy the
challenge as all of the caches will be a
challenge.

Bring gloves and boots or shoes that you wouldnt’t care to
get dirty.
