Christopher's Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

P.T.T.M.: After relocating the cache no less than four times, and replacing stage three many times as well, it is time to archive this cache. This was our first placed cache, and it brought many people to one of our favorite parks. It also honored a special little boy who is a busy five-year-old now and the light of his mama & daddy's lives!

Geocache Description:

This is a lock-n-lock, as the first two ammo cans went missing- a regular size cache. If you make it to the final, it is fairly easy to find. If you are looking for a quick, easy find, this isn't the one.

Our introduction to geocaching came from our friends, Team Under Construction. They just had their first child, Christopher, and we wanted to mark his birth by planting a geocache in his and his parents' honor. There is a trackable item commemorating our first geocache outing with our friends. My wife met the wife half of Team U.C. when they worked together at a now defunct bank, so we placed a golf ball with the old bank's logo on it. There is also a matchbox front loader representing the husband half of U.C. from when he went to school to work with heavy construction equipment. We tried to find a location between our home and theirs. Our hope is that families enjoy the beauty of this park, the outdoors, and finding this cache together!

Add the year that the memorial was established to the north and west coordinates (the full five digits) to get the real coordinates to the second part. N 41° 38.589 W 072° 55.830

Subtract the four digit number found here for the coordinates to the third leg. N 41° 42.384 W 072° 59.774

When you get to the fourth leg, this is a waypoint. There's not a container to find. Look around you at the beauty of the area before going to the final set of coordinates!
