Geocache Description:

A quick park and grab, but since there's seldom any parking, I put this at a 1.5 rating. The cache is a bison tube, with just a log.

It's in a pretty obvious place, but I think it's out-of-sight from muggles. If you start searching really hard, you're probably not in the right place.

This cache will take you to the far North East edge of campus. To the East you can see the old Schlumberger complex (many of the test wells are still standing) and the rail station that moved oil equipment from the fab yard.

To the south is the UH Law Center, and under the concrete court yard is the O' Quinn Law Library. Also, be sure to visit Albert the Great, located on the south side of the Law Center (it's the big bronze statue). Finally, to the north, KUHT, Houston's local PBS affiliate.

I always thought this field was in an odd place, since most outlying land around campus had been gobbled up for parking. It's nice to see afew trees still standing around the outside of campus. There's also a rose garden and patio nearby.

Enjoy!
