Geocache Description:

About this site: Off to the NE you will see a place where there used to be a natural lake. Since the state recently bought the property I'm curious to see if they'll let this return to a natural lake or not.

Oral history says Indians used to gather at the lake but I couldn't find any written history about it. If you know any history about the properties around the cache or the Indians that lived here, let me know.

This cache is to help celebrate my dad's (A.K.A. Pneuma to geocachers) 1000th find, 100th hide, 100th trackable found and 73rd birthday! I've stuffed an ammo box full of things he might like. Hopefully he'll be FTF and can pick something out of the AMMO BOX for a FTF prize.
