Oopsey Daisey, the klutzy mason, was hired by Mrs. Olsen to build a small patio in her back yard. She supplied him with the plans (a 9x9 grid) and square bricks numbered consecutively 1 through 81. He was told that he must place the bricks in numerical order, and that each brick had to be adjacent to the preceding one in either a horizontal or vertical direction, not diagonally. "Simple," Oopsey said. "Why, that's easier than falling off a log!" (And he had plenty of experience doing just that.)
But, as he was carrying the load of bricks to the job site, some fell off the hod and boinked him on the head. A little numb and disoriented, he began laying the bricks in the marked grid. The path he took was not as neat and orderly as Mrs. Olsen had hoped for, but instead wandered all over the place. Still, Oopsey was able to fill the grid by placing all the bricks in numerical order as requested. Each brick was adjacent to the preceding one in a horizontal or vertical direction, with no diagonal moves.
The grid in the attached photo shows where Oopsey placed some of the numbered bricks. You will need to fill in the rest of the grid to be able to find the "Numb Bricks" cache. Remember that each brick, numbered from 1 through 81, needs to be placed in consecutive order, and adjacent to the preceding one in a horizontal or vertical direction (no diagonal moves). The columns on the grid are indicated by letters A-I, and the rows indicated by the numbers 1-9. Each square on the grid can thus be identified by a letter and a number to help you solve the formula for the correct coordinates.
Final cache coordinates are: N 43* C5.(I6)(E2) W 124* A4.(E3)(F2)
