The
coordinates will take you to the parking lot of a great park. We
will be having a send-off for a great friend and inspiring
geocacher who brought many of us together during his infamous
“caching crew” days – else we might not have met and the local
geocaching community might not have expanded so quickly. We ask
that you identify “number attending” with your response of
"Attending".
Everyone
whose last name starts with A-K, please bring a dessert to share.
Everyone whose last name starts with L-Z, please bring snacks (such
as chips, dip, veggie tray, fruit bowl, crackers & cheese,
nuts, pretzels, etc.) to share. We will provide plates, napkins and
spoons.
Everyone
should bring their own drinks & chairs.
The park
has 2 ramadas with tables, a sand-based volleyball area, basketball
court, tennis courts, playground equipment, benches, restrooms, a
big parking lot and room to run. You must furnish your own
equipment for the game areas!
OK
folks. They aren't leaving until August, but us snowbirds will be
gone by then, so we're having it early! If you want to do another
for them in August you're more than welcome to do just that!
