misty's muskateers: I am archiving this as I no longer live locally, I tried to find it this morning but unable to locate, as it seems to have walked a bit, will be back to try and find it so I can remove it another time.

Geocache Description:

This is the 6th cache in the roundabout Basingstoke series. Please take a pen as there is not one in the cache. The easiest place to park is Eastrop Park and have a nice wander through the park.
This cache is a replacement for the previous cache but relocated so I thought I would re list it so those that found the previous one can find this one.

Eastrop has always been a seperate parish from Basingstoke with its own mediaval manorial court and a mill .
The Basingstoke Canal had its wharf to the south where the bus station stood. Coal was unloaded from London and corn and other agricultural products taken on the return journey.

As this cache is in a busy area I have put a hint in to allow quick retrieval.
