Hidden Gem - Yew Tree View Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Suebedz: I've had a look at this one and I found the bag on the floor but it was full of earwigs which is a problem with this one, so I have decided to archive it. Thank you to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

Quite literally a walk in the park along mainly pathways with grassed areas near to the cache.

This is indeed a hidden gem near to Perry Barr and one of four caches I have placed so far to encourage visitors to this lovely park. The walk to the cache is along mainly hard surface pathways with short undergrowth on the last few feet. The path takes you past the the pond where the swans, ducks, geese and other waterfowl swim so please take some bread with you to feed them.

The cache itself is a small camo'd lock box with a logbook and a few small goodies. It will hold geocoins and small tb's. Take care round the cache site, as we placed the cache we noticed the snowdrops just beginning to bloom.

Wheelchair accessible except for the last few feet.

There is parking inside the park but the gates are closed at dusk.

Well done Bob and Jill for being first to find.
