Blanchard Mountain has many excellent trails that interconnect; you can walk for miles up there and many times, I have. This cache is placed along the trail that connects the Oyster Dome/Bat Caves with Lizard Lake. It can be accessed via Max’s Shortcut, The Alternative Incline Trail or the PNT trail head on Chuckanut Drive (although this will add several more miles to your walk). I recommend printing and taking a map with you if you are unfamiliar with the area, you can find maps of the trails in the area by searching for Blanchard Mountain trails on the internet.
If you come this far, I want you to find the cache. The photo above shows the location and the cache itself is just a few feet off the trail on the wooded side.
