Short stretch of the Cumbrian Coastal Way along the River Waver.
Parking is possible oppisite the 11th century Abbey in Abbeytown, from here head along the road towards Kirkbride then take a Left turn which is signposted for the Cumbria Coastal Way passing under the old Silloth to Carlisle railway.You can complete as much or as little of the Coastal route as you wish or if you want a circular walk join the road around N54 51.412 W003 17.874 and turn left to take you back into Abbeytown, this amounts to around 2.5 miles. The paths are level but can be a muddy when after wet periods. The cache is a small Addis box containg notebook and usual bits.
