Štátna hranica je plocha, ktorá vertikálne prechádza
hranicnými ciarami po zemskom povrchu a oddeluje územie Slovenskej
republiky, jej vzdušný priestor, priestor pod zemským povrchom,
nadzemné a podzemné stavby a zariadenia všetkého druhu od územia
susedných štátov.
Priebeh štátnej hranice býva vyznacený:
- priamo - ak sú hranicné znaky osadené v jednotlivých
lomových bodoch hranicnej ciary
- nepriamo - ak sú hranicné znaky osadené mimo hranicnej
ciary, napr. na brehoch hranicných vodných tokov a okrajoch
hranicných ciest a hranicná ciara je urcená spravidla ich osou
urcenou matematickými bodmi
Štátne hranice
Slovenskej republiky sú v teréne vyznacené hranicnými znakmi,
spravidla žulovými, andezitovými, betónovými, resp. inými
medzníkmi. Ich rozmery stanovuje osobitný technický predpis vydaný
príslušnou hranicnou komisiou. Odlišujú sa najmä výškou opracovanej
casti, ktorá po osadení precnieva nad úrovnou terénu. Najbežnejším
typom hranicného znaku je medzník s rozmermi 20 x 20 x 90 cm,
pricom jeho opracovaná cast vysoká min. 40 cm je nad terénom
(nadzemná cast). V závislosti od významnosti lomového bodu
hranicnej ciary sa používajú aj medzníky s väcšími alebo menšími
rozmermi. Medzníky väcších rozmerov sú osadené na zaciatku
hranicných úsekov, v priestoroch hranicných priechodov alebo vo
významných lomových bodoch hranicnej ciary a pod. Medzníky menších
rozmerov sú osadené spravidla na doplnenie vyznacenia tam, kde si
to vyžaduje zretelnost priebehu štátnej hranice v teréne. Poloha
hranicného znaku je spravidla zabezpecená podzemnou stabilizacnou
znackou. Hranicné znaky sú natierané bielou trvanlivou farbou, ich
hlavová cast cervenou a popis ciernou farbou (císlo znaku, iniciály
štátov, stredový krížik, smerové znacky a pod.). Hrancný pás je
volný pruh štátneho územia udržiavaný bez viacrocnej vegetácie a
iných prekážok, urcený medzinárodnými zmluvami, široký spravidla 1
až 5 metrov. |

Slovenská republika susedí s piatimi štátmi a jedným z
nich je Madarská republika. Hranicné dokumentárne dielo
slovensko-madarskej štátnej hranice vzniklo krátko po prvej
svetovej vojne v rokoch 1921 až 1925 ako súcast Mierovej zmluvy
(Trianon, 4. júna 1920). V súcasnosti je štátna hranica urcená
podla Zmluvy medzi Ceskoslovenskou republikou a Madarskou ludovou
republikou o úprave režimu na štátnych hraniciach (Praha, 13.
október 1956). Dielo bolo priebežne aktualizované. K zmenám došlo v
súvislosti so zmenami vyznacenia štátnej hranice alebo zmenami
priebehu hranicnej ciary (napr. Zmluva medzi Slovenskou republikou
a Madarskou republikou o zmenách priebehu štátnej hranice po
vodohospodárskych úpravách vykonaných na hranicných riekach Ipel,
Slaná a Ronava, Bratislava, 21. apríla 1997).
Slovensko - Madarská štátna hranica má 654,8 km , z
toho 339km na vodných tokoch, 56.6km na hranicných cestách. 6.7km
na hranicných priekopách a 252.6km priamym vyznacením. Úcelom
tejto série je predstavit vám zaujímave miesta tejto štátnej
hranice.

Keška sa nachádza na hranici medzi dvoma podsústavami
- Karpatami a Panónskou panvou . Samotná Východoslovenská
pahorkatina je castou oblasti Východoslovenská nížina . Na západe
hranicí so Slanskými vrchmi. Profil sa znacne znižuje a prechádza
do nižších nadmorských výšok s miernymi stúpaniami. Štátna hranica
v týchto miestach opúšta horský hreben Slanských vrchov a zacína
kopírovat hranice vodných tokov. V rovinnej casti najprv prebieha
korytom potoka Byšta (Bükk-patak). V case jarného topenia snehu,
alebo jesenných daždov, sa koryto potoka vylieva na okolité lúky. V
tom case sú schodné len s obtiažami. Je to hlavne v casti, kde
súbežne vedla seba tecú potoky Byšta a Izra. Hranicné stlpiky vedú
momentálne vyschnutým korytom potoka, ktorý zmenil svoj smer. Keška
je umiestnená v mohutnej starej vrbe, v jednej z jej dutín. ... Ak
koncíte svoju cestu v Michalanoch, na hranici, nedaleko hranicného
znaky XVII/48-1 sa nachádza odpocívadlo s možnostou obcerstvenia a
základnej hygieny pocas turistickej sezóny. ( pozor - nepomýlte si
