carlz0r: Apparently the "stewards" of Hitchcock Woods don't like there being more than 3 caches in the woods at any given time.

Why I was not contacted about this sooner, I will probably never know. I have been forced to archive this cache, but hopefully I will be able to find another place to hide one soon. Thank you for everyone who appreciated my work in creating and hiding this, and sorry that someone had to complain about it, and ruin our fun after over half a year later.

Geocache Description:

Aiken South Carolina's Hitchcock Woods. Best to use the Aiken Estates entrance (Clark Rd). Since it's in the woods, this is not wheelchair accessible. May be difficult for those who have trouble walking on uneven terrain. The name should give a good clue what this cache is hidden near, just look at a Hitchcock Woods Map, supplied online in PDF form, and in printouts at each entrance.

This is my first cache, and hopefully there are many more to come.

This cache is small, only large enough to hold a tiny logbook, and the usual "geocachenote.doc" folded up. It's a camouflaged Lock&Lock container.

There is some risk of muggles seeing you at this cache, so exercise moderate stealth, especially if you hear people on the nearby trail.

BRING YOUR OWN PEN

and

PLEASE make sure to close the lid tightly, and keep as much dirt as possible away from the rubber seal. Try to conceal the cache as well as possible to avoid muggling.
