This cache has been placed as part of East London’s Camp &
Cache event cache.
Glen Eden is a favorite with the children. It is one of those sites
where you needn't get into your car for the whole holiday if you
don't want to. The site is situated on an extremely clean tidal
lagoon a few hundred meters from a beautiful and safe swimming and
body boarding beach which is patrolled by life guards,...you'll
have to drag the kids away !!!!.There's no pool but the lagoon and
the beach are so pretty and safe for even the youngest children
that you won't miss it. The site is well protected from the wind
and very shady. The camp is walled and after dark access is through
a security point. There is a camp shop which sells just about
everything and behind it you'll find 2 tennis courts for the
energetic. A 20 minute walk up the hill ( or 2 minutes if you
decide to move the car) and you can take the kids to a touch farm
whilst you enjoy a cold beer or a meal at the local
pub/restaurant.
The cache is a green Bison tube hidden ......... PLease bring your
own pen to complete the log.
