Geocache Description:

Cache released as part of the "Cartoon Cache Series" for the "Rippin 'Round the Red: Looney Toons Poker Run" geo-event May 2009. It is a short distance off the Confederation Trail and no bushwacking is required.

It's not that easy being green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves

KERMIT THE FROG

Who said, "It's not easy bein' green!"? As a tadpole in the swamp, I had 3,265 brothers and sisters, but since I could talk (and sing), I made it to Hollywood where I got a "rich and famous" contract to work on Sesame Street and become a "pig magnet" -- Miss Piggy, that is. But I, 'croak', digress. I got my first credit in 1955's "Sam and Friends", a 5-minute puppet show. My breakout role was in 1969 on Sesame Street, which leap-frogged me to a staring role in The Muppet Show in 1976. I've worked with the best -- Miss Piggy (she called me Kermie), Grover, Oscar the Grouch, Elmo, Big Bird, Rowlf the Dog, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie -- but I still get "a people in my throat" when I think about my creator, Jim Henson.

This cache is the release and home of the "Nimrod's Kachin' Kermit" TB. The cache is not suitable for swag and you must bring your own writing instrument.
