Small plastic container located along Buttermilk Falls Walking
Trail. Parking is at N 38 00.228 W086 09.890 or at the vicinity of
N 38 00.043 W 086 07.792. Path is paved and offers an excellent
place to walk, run, or bike. Don't cross the fence.
This cache is placed in honor of all our Grandfathers. Please log
the cache and share your greatest moments or memories with yours.
My late great Grandpa Lloyd was a great man that showed me how
to live and in some instances, how not to live. His amazing
patience on the trout stream was something to behold and his
resilience in the mountains hunting ginseng wore my brother and I
out on many occasions. On the flip side, his reluctance to keep a
tidy home was not the example to follow and his lack of concern
with preventive maintenance on his cars, tractor, and lawn mowers
left him stranded a few times. I truly miss the man that helped to
mold me into who I am today.
