Geocache Description:

This cache is in Queeny Park. Parking is available at the Weidman and Mason Road entrances. Length of hike to the cache depends on which parking area you use. Park hours are from 8:00am til 1/2 hour after sunset. The cache is a short (approximate 100') bushwack from the trail at the western intersection of the Fox Run Trail and the White Oak Trail. Expect the normal joys of nature (ticks, burrs, and undergrowth). To the best of my knowledge there are no lions, tigers or bears. The Gpsr starts acting up when you enter the woods so the hint should be most valuable. The cache is a camoed tall lock & lock style container. Starting contents are a CITO container, toy car, LED flashlight, red fox, a fresh pair of AA batteries and the log.

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy

Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
