We walked into Penguin Island after retrieving the two caches. No more Penguin Island.

Geocache Description:


IMPORTANT: Cache is located at Penguin Island* Wildlife Management Area. Click here for pdf map. Penguin Island is open sunrise-sunset, seven days a week. On Saturdays during September, access to the area will be closed until 2PM. Starting the first Sunday in October, Penguin Island will only be open on Sundays, 8AM to sunset. Returning to the normal 7 days a week the first Sunday in February. This schedule is subject to change. Sundays will be your best bet.

IMPORTANT: Access to Penguin Island is through the Dominion Power, Surry Power Station. You will need to provide security with a picture ID and your vehicle will be subject to a search. You will be given specific directions to Penguin Island and should not deviate from the road until you reach the park. Security is well armed and will be watching you as you drive through the Surry Power Station property.
