Geocache Description:

Located just off of the Mill Pond trail in Milton.

This is a well maintained and well-traveled trail in one of the more scenic spots in downtown Milton. Enjoy a walk around our Mill Pond, and you'll find the cache at about the half-way point of the loop. As will become quite obvious once you're up on the train bridge, this is a long-defunct rail line that has been converted by the city into a walking bridge. I have to admit I was a bit nervous taking my kids near the bridge the first time I walked this trail. The newer, active train tracks in the distance are well marked and fenced off.

This cache was created by my youngest daughter, who was three years old at the time of the listing. She picked "Princesses" as the theme, and has decorated the container with all of her favourite princess stickers. You will find several small trading items inside the container.

Some other things you might want to do in the area:
- there's a splashpad right beside the trailhead, bring swimsuits for the kids
- on Saturday mornings during the summer, Main Street (one block over from the trailhead) is blocked off for a very nice farmer's market
