While geocaching on this beautiful sunny February Presidents day
in Northern California, I stumbled upon this incredible river
raging thru the redwoods. While here, I recalled that areas
like this often have a cache!
So, not to be one without a couple of nanos I figured that this
spot was on a par with some of the best. Seeing that the entire
area was surrounded with trees, flowers, rattlesnakes and Rhinos, I
decided that this 35mm would fit the bill perfectly.
Anyway, while placing the cache, I happen to stumble upon this
really odd looking 6-foot Rabbit chipping away at a shiny black
stone that was taking on the shape of an arrowhead. As I
approached, he announces his name to be Harvey so I introduce
myself and ask Harvey what he is making.
"This is going to be a bazooka to help me rid myself of my
imaginary friend Elwood" he says. I figure ok, this rabbit has lost
his mind and perhaps I should ... wait a minute. A talking rabbit
trying to off some imaginary dude named Elwood? Something's wrong
with this picture..
So, knowing that angst and hares don't mix, I high tailed it out
of there with my coords so I could remember where this awesome spot
of beauty was.
So... Your mission? Come find the lil buggar!
** And if you believe ANY of the
above, you’ll never find this cache **
This cache is not your
