Prince George Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Duffy73: Its been a blast reading the logs for this one for so long! Originally, we had thought the cache may be gone quick, but all are expectations were surpased with the longevity of this cache. I think it would last much longer too. I am disabling the cache because I hear there are homeless people now hanging in the area. I dont think its right and possibly not safe either to cache in the vicinity.

I think there is still a fake cache in the area people are finding as well and claiming it to be the real cache. A cacher just said something about all sorts of teeth mars on the lid and it being on the ground. I do not belive this to be the proper hidden cache?

Regardless, the cache is archived and it was an absolute hoot with this one. Please check out the other PG's in the series in the area.

HAPPY CACHING!

Geocache Description:

Not a difficult find, but not a quick grab either. The cache is a half litre container, previously used for imported fruit from Greece. “Prince George” the cache, is located in a big beautiful city park close to our school. Parking could be tricky, best approach is probably from Stevens Ave. Just to the north of the park and just south of McArthur Ave. Cache has a blue lid and is about 5 feet from ground.

This cache is in recognition of our YMCA Engagement exchange with the IRAY youth group from Prince George, British Columbia. As part of our hosting week, we are planning a big day of geocaching with our twins from Prince George. This cache represents our entry into the sport. The cache should be an easy find and is accessible in all seasons. Please do not try and find the cache after dark as we believe city parks are closed after dark unless otherwise stated. Should be muggle free, but it is easily seen from GZ.
The original contents of the cache include:
1 FTF prize of a family pass to the Museum of Nature.
1 Prince George Travel Bug (FBJBOG) (Please get me to Prince George, B.C. soon.)
1 Pace Beads
1 YMCA Lanyard
1 Carabineer
1 Roger McDowell
1 Goose
2 biodiversitymatters.org bumper stickers
1 Canadian Cacher badge
1 25cents CT Money
5 Euro Play Money
Geocaching Manifesto Paperwork
Logbook and Writing tool

This is so easy you don't need any hints.
