Geocache Description:

This cache is one of the ten alien caches in the Ben Ten Series. The full alien list is Diamondhead, Fourarms, Ghostfreak, Heatblast, Grey Matter, Ripjaws, Stinkfly, Upgrade, Wildmutt and XLR8. Fuller details about the series can be found on the listings for "Ben Tennyson” and "The Omnitrix”

Ghostfreak is an Ectonurite (ecto playing on ectoplasm) from the perpetually dark planet Anur Phaetos (phaetos playing on phantom). Ectonurites are part of a hive mind, which is contained within the vast genetic memory of every Ectonurite. Ghostfreak outwardly resembles a one-eyed ghost, the result of a second skin, while Ghostfreak's true form is that of a wraith-like genie with blue claws, decaying skin, and an exposed, upside-down skull with a single eye for a head. Ghostfreak is composed of a variable-density protoplasm which allows him to become invisible and/or intangible at will. Ghostfreak can levitate freely, and he doesn't require oxygen, allowing him to survive in a vacuum. It has no real weaknesses to speak of. The second skin protects him from Ghostfreak's otherwise fatal aversion to sunlight. The second skin also has 'tracks' on it, enabling its single eye to move about, allowing it to see behind, or anywhere the eye decides to go.

This cache is on a public footpath that can be muddy, so boots or Wellingtons are recommended, especially if doing the full circuit. Please ensure the cache is properly camouflaged after being replaced. Also remember to take note of the number on the top of the logsheet as you will need it to find “The Omnitrix”
