Geocache Description:

The coordinates for this cache are not the coordinates for the final, rather they are for the first waypoint.

This is a walkway. Follow the track (expect some damp patches along the way) and sign posting towards the picnic area.

To find this cache, you have to use your powers of observation as you walk along the track. First, look carefully at the 8 pictures in the gallery. As you follow the track, can you identify the items in the pictures?

The first waypoint is in, on or near, one of the items pictured. But which one?
The second waypoint is also situated in, on or under one of the items pictured.
As for the final cache, is it in, on or near something in the pictures?
Well, you’ll just have to find that out for yourself.

This is our first cache. It was designed with children in mind to encourage them to use their observational skills. We hope you enjoy finding this cache as much as we enjoyed constructing it!
Finally, we hppos love hippos and would welcome them, in particular, to this retreat.
Wild animals as swaps are also encouraged.

Note: At the end of the track (approx.700m) there's a large clearing. This is a good spot for a family picnic with lots of space for family sporting activities.
