Find the cache

In this cache there is a piece of rope. (bring about 35 foot of
1/4" rope as a back up incase the rope is missing)
Look for an eye on the tree where the cache is hidden.
Put the end of the rope with the nail through the eye and stretch
it to a another tree of the same species that has the same type of
eye at a compass bearing of 80 degrees
Secure the rope to the eye with a taut-line-hitch so that it is
fairly tight.
Somewhere on the rope is a knot, look below the knot for a strip of
metal that has coordinates stamped onto it. If the rope is missing,
use your back up rope and look somewhere along the rope in the
middle third, directly below the rope.
Please be sure to replace the rope in the cache and the metal strip
back where you found it. The rope goes into a bag with a note that
says not to take it.
Very high cliffs in the area, enjoy the view, don't bring skittish
kids or dogs.
