take extra socks
A 4 mile walk from Haweswater carpark.
a 3.5 mile walk from Wetsleddale dam carpark.
4 miles from Sadgil.
3.5 miles from nearest parking at Swindale
All routes wet and boggy , even in the summer.
Vague paths you would loose completly in bad visibility.
I would not say it is an easy place to get to.
forget it during and after heavy rain.
if that dont put you off. its just a small alloy screw top tube
covered in brown insulation tape with a small pencil and
a small roll of paper.
I think the fun is in getting there. Good luck.
