Hunting allowed from Oct. 1 to Dec 31. Be safe - wear florescent orange.
There must have been a view when they named the trail but now it is more of a peekaboo and that's on a good day. Reception should be good though.
Update - the area has changed and now, on a clear day, there is a view to a peak. Mount Baker to be specific as well as nearby Penn Cove.
