Geocache Description:

Has this ever happened to you? You get a notification of a new cache the instant that it's posted, its only half a mile away, so you drop what you're doing, load the coordinates in your GPS and go get it. You quickly find it, only to open the log book and find a name on the first line like (I don't want to embarass anyone, so I'm going to make up some names at random) Uh. . .hmm, Choyd Bicks, Kissers Maternal Parent, Organization Earth Wardens, Have Four Wheel Drive, Trek Becks, or Our Country's Beauty Queen. If so, this cache is for you!
We all know that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first Apollo crew on the moon, who was second? Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzig Norgay were the first team to climb Mt. Everest, who was second? In the 2008 Olympics, Michael Phelps won his last gold medal by a fraction of an inch, who was second? See, history forgets the second place, but we're going to change history!
This cache is for second to find, the silver medal winner, the horse that places, the red ribbon winner, in short, those of us who are always a bridesmaid, never a bride. No longer will second be the first loser.
The first to find this one gets nothing but boos and hisses. The prize goes to second to find, and there is a prize in the cache for STF. If FTF claims FTF on his/her log or stats, the log will be deleted. If FTF takes the STF prize out of the cache, s/he will be beaten to a bloody pulp and have his/her GPS run down a garbage disposal. (Just kidding, but you get the idea.)
If you are always a bridesmaid, keep trying. Remember, Babe Ruth is known for his 714 home runs, but history tends to forget that he struck out 1330 times.
Also remember that the early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Congrats to Tartanite for the STF, and the $2 STF prize! (Anyone catching the "2" theme to this cache? It's not a coincidence that it was hidden on 2-22). And boo, hiss to AWEMM!
