Many people may know that Britton Hill is the location with the highest elevation in the state of Florida at 345 feet.
This cache location is at an elevation of 315 feet (according to Google Earth). Thus this cache location is just 30 feet short of being the highest point in the state of Florida. It is also interesting to note that it is 57 miles away from Britton Hill.
Google Earth also shows the highest point near GZ is 322 feet, about 1,000 feet away. However, it’s on private property and no trespassing signs abound.
Since it is close to Highway 231, it should be a quick and easy diversion along the way.
