Q & A's mystery cache for the 2009 SCC:

Friday, May 1, 2009 – at the home of Detective Dr. W. Tardis…

Ring, Ring, Ring!!!

“Who could that be at 5 o’clock in the morning?” I sighed.

“Hello, Detective Tardis, its Q & A… we have a huge problem! One of our caches that we have hidden for the 2009 Spring Cache Challenge has been taken.”

“Oh my” I said. “Do you have any idea what happened?” Q & A were frantic on the other end of the phone.

“Well, we just went to check on our cache to ensure it was all set for the Challenge, when we saw that it had been taken and a note left in its place… it was a note from the Dreaded Pirate Roberts. HE HAD PLUNDERED OUR CACHE! The SCC starts tonight. What are we going to do?”

I instantly awakened. My nemesis, that rascal, was at it again. “What did the note say?” I inquired.

“It was really weird” said Q & A. “It was not his normal type of clue. We don’t know if it is real or not.”

Q & A told me that all they found was a note that said:

“The cache ye seek belongs to me and me crew, the original coordinates will never do. If ye wants your swag, then this ye must do, sit down and think and solve me clue…66784 4823641 9378 08916313 DPR.”

“That is strange” I said. “Never fear, I, along with some of my trusty Caching companions, will break this dastardly clue and recover your cache from that scoundrel” I promised.

“Oh thank you, Detective Tardis” Q & A said while hanging up.

“So” I though, “I have a mystery to solve and a cache to find. I had better get at it and remember to bring my pencil to sign the log when I find it”.
