How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Wimborne is a small town and worth a look around if you have time.
For the children, look out for the 'Quarter Jack' the red jacketed soldier on the north side of the west tower of the Minster. (See picture Gallery)
The whole route is wheelchair friendly but will need assistants to recover cache. Be aware there are narrow pavements/roads and a river in the town.

The cache is a round 5 x10cm plastic tub with push lid painted black and 'Geocache label'
Please be careful to replace where found as surrounding ground is not flat and tub can roll and be exposed.

There are various car parks in Wimborne. The above co-ords are for nearest to Stage 1 waypoint.
(long-term CP’s give better value plus enough time to cache and look around the Town).

It’s a town, so there are Muggles. Most appear from schools in cache area between 1430-1530, probably best to avoid at this time.

Contains log book and pencil and other bits and bobs.
