The 17th Annual National Corn Dog Day
Celebration is happening, so get your party hats on, your stomach
emptied, and your sense of proportions out of
whack.
What is National Corndog Day?
National Corndog Day coincides with the Saturday of the final 32
teams in NCAA basketball tournament (this year it’s March 21st).
This Saturday is the only day all year that one can watch a
quadruple-header of college basketball games (that’s a good 7-8
hours of college hoops) from start to finish without having to
change the channel.
What do you actually do on National Corndog
Day?
We eat Corndogs.! Lots of Corndogs... Well we will be gathering to
chow down on some corndogs at a local hotdog eatery and grab some
geocaches.(who cares about sitting around watching
basketball???
and...it's the day before my Dad's birthday and he LOVES hot
dogs! All dogs are welcome, even if yours isn't so "hot"! Party
is open to not just "weiners" but "losers" too. No dog left
behind!!! Bonus points if you can name mine.
