Truchsess George von Waldburg had "Schwäbische Bund" of the contract, the carnage of Weinsberg to avenge (on April 16th, 1525 the peasants there had attacked the castle and massacred the Count and other nobles). He therefore marched with his army in the duchy of Württemberg, captured on May 10th the Lord of peasants occupied the mountain and moved to Boblingen further. On May 12th was there for the decisive battle. The peasants were in Böblingen about 12,000 men gathered. Böblingen, the first with the peasants, has changed the fronts and enabled the artillery of the Truchsess the "Schwäbischen Bund"-government to the city in favorable position. The peasants were in the battle after tactical maneuvers clumsy from the strong artillery shooting together. After a single riderattack the army of the peasants escape into the wild flight. With the battle of Böblingen was the uprising in Württemberg ended. The three thousand peasants were killed and the Schwäbische Bund took cruel revenge on all those who had supported the uprising.

Lost crowd (Verlorener Haufen) was a special troop of "Landsknechten" - or even here peasants - who are not in the battle order was entered, but before Force, a major battle led dispersed.
