The location of the cache can give you a great view of the Athalassa park, one of Cyprus's national parks. The park is great for everybody, adults and children alike but to obtain the cache it might be a good idea to leave the kids in the car. There are some very steep elevation changes as well as a lot of spiked plants. The climbing doesn't last more than 10 minutes but for a kid it would be difficult to climb.
Athalassa National Park is situated in the southeast from the city Lefkosia. In the National Park are found lot of botanic gardens. Total area of the park is 840 hectares. In 1904 began the botanic gardens established. Nowadays grow in the park 500 species of trees, bushes and plants. Very interesting is botanic garden called Nations Park. There are trees inseminated by significant persons of different countries, who visited Cyprus. In an area of National Park go several marked touristic paths.
CACHE NOTES: The cache can hold several small items and has it's own pencil and sharpener but just in case bring your own writing utensil to log your visit.
