Geocache Description:

A mystery person and cryptographic puzzle set in and around Milton Keynes.

Now that Spring is approaching, I thought I would set some more in my series of Puzzle Caches to get you all out and about.

It will be possible to complete any cache in the series individually, but it will probably be much easier to solve them in order. A clue will be provided in each cache giving some help in solving the next one (or previous one) in the series. There will be a unique, personalised and exhilarating prize for the first Cacher to complete the Series.

To discover the whereabouts of this cache, you will need identify the individual (X) described below, decode the piece of Ciphertext and solve a further riddle that will become apparent when you arrive at the initial location.

X was born in the Far East to Missionary parents.

X has the same name as one parent.

X was educated in the Far East, England and America.

X trained in Wales and produced their most famous piece of work during that period.

X has no connection to, and never visited Milton Keynes (as far as I am aware).

X died in a tragic accident near Sleaford whilst still very young.

In what year did X die? This is ABCD.

Now you have identified X, the next stage is to decode this piece of Ciphertext :
