Cabins at Ross Moore Lake Traditional Cache
Team K1W1: I was up at the cabins today and the cache is gone.
Sounds like the disgruntled campers got rid of it.
Kpnieder also noted that the phone number had been whittled away - well now the whole phone number sign is gone.
Still it's a great place to visit and we will place another cache in the future - but away from the cabins.

Cabins at Ross Moore lake - welcome to our playground.
There are two rustic cabins at Ross Moore Lake. I am not sure of their origin, but they are available for the public to use. (The phone number to call is on the large cabin.) In the past the Canadian Forces have used them for training exercises. The land they sit on is considered private, but I did get permission to place the cache at this location and for cachers to hunt for the cache.
To get to this cache in winter you will need a snowmobile. Other times of the year you will need a 4x4, quad, motorcycle - or a long hike.
When we placed the cache we came from Lac Le Jeune via snowmobile. If you want trail coordinates to get to the cache just drop me an email and I will provide you with waypoints for the intersections on the logging roads and trails. If you come from the Lac Le Jeune side by 4x4 there is one rocky hill you have to go down (and back up).
It is possible to access Ross Moore from the east starting from Highway 5A and possibly from the north of Mc Connell Lake. Since I have only accesed it from the Lac Le Jeune side notes in your log of alternative routes would be appreciated.
The cache is a small ammo can. FTF prize is a Timmies $10.00 gift card. Note that the following hint will tel you exactly where it is, though it should be an easy find.
