Geocache Description:

Small lock'n'lock in the mountains near Harrison Main, 960 ft. elevation, 4.5 mi. round trip from the Harrison Main/Galloping Goose intersection. Harrison Main starts at 48° 25.449'N 123° 42.835'W, and crosses the Galloping Goose at 48° 25.592'N 123° 42.632'W. Go up Harrison Main until the pipeline crosses the trail at 48° 25.859'N 123° 42.167'W, and then follow the pipeline to the right for 3/4 of a mile or so. You will notice several trails leading off to your left as your position becomes perpendicular to the cache. I started from the trailhead at 48° 25.058'N 123° 41.889'W and after the initial trek through the forest, the going was pretty easy. One of the earlier trails might get you to the cache sooner. I didn't stay on any one trail after leaving the pipeline, but the trek was mostly an uphill climb in open terrain. Given the shape of this mountain, shorter routes from the pipeline will probably be much steeper that the one I chose. Be sure to bring your camera - the view at the cache site is awesome!

The cache is underneath a root near the base of the tree.

Enjoy!
