Geocache Description:

UPDATED: Due to damage to previous cache by earth working, this is the new, improved Lair of Lewis!

If you like this cache, please visit its nearby brother Ferris's Folly - only a mile away and in an equally interesting place.

Anyway, Lair of Lewis is named after a cheeky young sheltie called Lewis. Easy to find lock and lock container cache on Robin's Lane path near open access land.

Best approached from the south. Park at Fir Tree Farm near King's Moss (great for tea and cake) and head up one of the many woodland walk routes through the plantation and towards the cache (and another hidden en route). Lots of nice wood sculptures to discover, and no mud this way. Alternative is to park nearer Crawford to the west and enjoy a nice walk across not-too muddy fields and footpaths towards the cache.
